Entrapped in a vicious cycle of accusations, efforts in resolving the decades-long haze issues in Riau, Indonesia are becoming alarmingly futile. This film is a juxtaposition of thoughts, anecdotes, opinions and images from affected locations. (Pekanbaru, Dumai, Sungai Tohor)
The film premiered at the exhibition of Amar Kanwar: The Sovereign Forest (NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore), and continued on to other screenings/exhibitions in Asian Culture Station (Chiang Mai, Thailand), VT Artsalon (Taipei, Taiwan) and George Town Festival (Penang, Malaysia).
Screened to a global audience at the George Town Festival as part of the Unsettled Dust Asian Short Film Festival in Penang, Malaysia.
