Mermer: Exquisite Corpse
With the talented students from Mendaki!
What happens when a mythical beast, MERMER, emerges from the depths and descends upon the streets of Singapore? Our mobile filmmaking workshops invite students to find out.
Inspired by the Surrealist tradition of the exquisite corpse, each group of participants is given a single task: recreate a scene featuring Mermer without any knowledge of what the others are making. When the footage is assembled, something unexpected takes shape — a fun, surprising, collective vision that belongs to everyone.
Developed for Praxium as part of their career exploration Pathways programme, the workshops inspire the curiosity of filmmaking in primary and secondary school students across Singapore. We have organised the workshop at St. Joseph's Institution, St. Patrick's School, Presbyterian High School, =DREAMS and many more!

"Despite the students being complete newbies, you guys were fantastic in coaching them to achieve this in such a short period of time! You guys are awesome!"
